Veterinary Laboratory & Diagnostic Services
In the laboratory and diagnostic services unit of Farvardin Pet Clinic, the tests needed to assess an animal’s health, help diagnose diseases, evaluate organ function, and monitor treatment progress are performed.
Full Description
Many diseases cannot be diagnosed by physical examination alone, and diagnostic tests may be necessary to identify the cause of symptoms or evaluate the function of different organs. Veterinary tests can provide important information about blood status, the function of organs such as the liver and kidneys, the body’s water and electrolyte balance, the presence of inflammation or infection, and other physiological changes.
At Farvardin Pet Clinic, the type of test is chosen based on the patient’s condition and the veterinarian’s judgment. Test results alone are not the sole basis for diagnosis; they are interpreted alongside clinical signs, examination, medical history, and, when needed, imaging or other evaluations. The laboratory also plays an important role in pre-surgical and pre-anesthesia assessment, monitoring hospitalized and emergency patients, and evaluating the animal’s response to treatment.
